The Applied Geological - Environmental Researches and Studies & Geographical Information Systems (GIS) consultancy “GeoScopio” was founded on May 2006 by the Geologist/Senior GIS Consultant Maria Xygkaki. Maria is recognised as a proficient Geologist and GIS Consultant with some 19 years of experience in Geology, scientific services and GIS applications/solutions.

"GeoScopio” has succesfully offered services to more than 50 different projects related to environment, hazards assessments, social, economic, administrative and geospatial planning and sustainability, fire monitoring and management, water resources estimation and management, environmental impacts assessments, land cover and land usage, waste management, mining, exploration, construction, retail, insurances, tourism and more.

“GeoScopio” aims to provide high quality and accurate scientific work, best solutions and advice in order to cover the clients's business requirements, solve technical problems and develop the client's business using science, geospatial technologies and remote sensing methods.
